For close to two hours Tuesday, the Cumberland Mayor and City Council discussed a wide range of possible solutions to address the projected $1.3 million general fund deficit. Although no final decisions were reached, the general consensus among the city officials appears to be to implement a hybrid plan involving a mixture of cuts and a tax hike.
