December 12th, 2011 by WCBC Radio

Stepping down from simultaneous 15 year stints on Allegany County’s Board of Zoning Appeals, and Sanitation Commission- Jack Holliday was honored Thursday by the County Commissioners with an official citation for his years of dedicated, volunteer service. Holliday, a longtime citizen representative for his home area of Mexico Farms, began serving on the Sanitation Commission in 1996 and the Zoning Board the following year. He said that it was his regular communication at commissioners meetings that finally led the elected officials to recommend him for those appointments.
