COVID positivity rate now below 5% in all MD jurisdictions

Governor Larry Hogan announced Thursday that, for the first time, the COVID-19 positivity rate for all 24 jurisdictions in Maryland has fallen below 5%, as the statewide positivity rate continues to remain steady at 3.29%. The statewide positivity rate has been under 5% since June 25. Maryland’s seven-day average positivity rate is 3.29% today, and the daily positivity rate dropped to 3.49%. The World Health Organization recommends positivity rates remain at 5% or lower for at least 14 days before moving forward with further reopenings. Hogan says the credit for the declining numbers goes to Maryland citizens who, for the most part, have acted responsibly…

    That’s because of TOO much testing!! If we only test those WITH Covid we could get to 100% positivity!! Yea! (that makes sense to Trumpers)
