Cox Comments on Final Opening Day at Allegany on Sedgwick Street

August 29th, 2017 by WCBC Radio

If all goes according to plan, this will be the final Opening Day of School for Allegany High School on Sedgwick Street.

There will be a number of last events at the old building, and Allegany County Schools Superintendent Dr David Cox says it’s both exciting and bittersweet…

Dr Cox says that there are plans to have the stained glass Camper from the current location moved to the new high school on Haystack Mountain, as well as a time capsule buried several years ago.
