CPD Make Assault Arrest & Serve Body Attachment

On Thursday, November 14th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Broadway Street residence for the report of an assault in progress.  When officers arrived, they were met by Michael Shannon Wilson who interfered by trying not to let officers speak with the victim who reported the assault.  Michael Wilson was arrested and charged with obstructing and hindering.  Contact was eventually made with a female who stated that she had called the police and was assaulted by Dylan Michael Wilson.  Officers observed injuries to female victim’s face that were consistent with a recent assault.  Dylan Wilson was also arrested and charged with second degree assault.  Both were taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

Charge:  Obstructing and hindering.

Dylan Michael Wilson, age; 22, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charge:  Second degree assault.

Body Attachment Served

On Thursday, November 14th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served a body attachment on Megan L. Pettit.  The body attachment was issued by Garrett County Circuit Court for failing to appear for a hearing on September 10th, 2019.  She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on $500 bond.
