CPD Makes Breaking & Entering Arrest And Serve Bench Warrant

On Tuesday December 27, 2016, at 3:11 pm, Cumberland City Police responded to a private residence in the 600 block of Columbia Street for a reported breaking and entering.  Officers observed that forcible entry was made through a window as the curtains were tore from the wall.  Officers located Barbara Baldwin, age 56 of Cumberland, inside the residence eating food which belonged to the property owner.  Baldwin was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where she was processed and served.  Baldwin was taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing.  She was held on a $7,500.00 hundred dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGES:  Burglary 1st, 3rd & 4th Degree, Theft less than $100.00 dollars.

 

WARRANT SERVICE

On Tuesday December 27, 2016, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant Kristin Bible, age 24 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued as a result of Bible failing to appear for trial on December 22, 2016 for a previous Disorderly Conduct arrest.  Bible was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing.  Bible was held on a $1,500.00 dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGE:  Fail to Appear
