On November 21, 2018, at approximately 11:10 pm, a Cumberland Police Officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle traveling on Centre Street with an equipment violation. The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator, Kyle Roberts, age 30 of Cumberland. While speaking with Roberts officers observed controlled CDS paraphernalia in plain view. At this time a probable cause search was conducted and other paraphernalia along CDS were located in the vehicle. Subsequently, Roberts was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, and Possession of CDS not Marijuana. Roberts was later taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance and released on his own recognizance.
