An officer was in the area of Queen City Dr. when he observed two subjects running from the area across the railroad tracks towards Park St. He was then contacted by a female subject who advised that her purse was just stolen from her shopping cart by two subjects. She gave the officer a description of the suspects and this matched the two subjects he observed running from the area. One subject that matched the description was located in the Emily St. area. He was identified as Asia Broadway. Broadway stated that he didn’t steal the purse but the juvenile he was with is the one who stole it he was just with him when it happened. The juvenile was located a short distance away on Union St. Both subjects were arrested and transported to PH. At PH they were both charged with Theft under $100, trespassing. The juvenile was released to family members awaiting disposition from the Department of Juvenile Services. Broadway was issued Criminal Citations and released pending trial in District Court.
