On Monday August 5th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police arrested Yancey Ezra Sheridan Bailey, Age 38, of Cumberland MD. Bailey was arrested on an active arrest warrant issued on August 1st 2019, alleging Bailey failed to comply with his conditions as a registered sex offender in the State of Maryland. Bailey was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. Bailey was held without bail.

***Criminal Summons Arrest***
On Monday August 5th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Frank Germaine MacDonald, age 36, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on July 21st, 2019. During that incident, The Cumberland Police responded to the 30 block of Pennsylvania Ave to check on the well being of a male subject that appeared to be in distress. Upon arrival, officers contacted the male and identified MacDonald. During the incident, MacDonald was found to be in possession of an amount of suspected crack cocaine as well as CDS paraphernalia. As a result of the incident, a Criminal Summons was issued for MacDonald. He was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
