CPD Makes Warrant & Trespassing Arrests

On March 24, 2019, The Cumberland Police Department served two Arrest Warrants on 34 year old Jeremiah Daniel Martin of Cumberland, MD.  The Arrest Warrants stemmed from Martin failing to appear at District Court for trial on two separate incidents.  Martin was taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office for his initial appearance and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a total bond of $3,000.

Arrested: Jeremiah Daniel Martin   Age: 34 of Cumberland, MD

 

Charges:  Failure to Appear:  Theft less than $100

 

Charges:  Failure to Appear:  Possession of paraphernalia

 

 

Trespassing Arrest

On March 24, 2019, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business on East Oldtown for male stopping customers in the parking lot as they entered the business.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with 42 year old Jason Apollo Crabtree of Cumberland, MD.  Crabtree was told by the store manager as well as the officer on scene that he was not welcome on the property and was to leave the area.  A short time later, officers were called back to the business for Crabtree being on the property and causing a disturbance.  Ultimately, Crabtree was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department where he was issued citations for trespassing and failing to obey a lawful order.  Crabtree was released pending trial in District Court.
