CPD Responds To Hit & Run And Serve Summons

On Friday March 28, 2016, at 20:38 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Bedford Street for a reported hit and run complaint. After a brief search of the area the suspect vehicle was located on Front Street, being driven by Maria Adriana Mastropasqua, age 19 of Cumberland Maryland. Damage was found on the suspect’s vehicle that matched damage done to the victim’s vehicle. Mastropasqua was issued several traffic citations and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

Charges: Failure to remain at the scene, Failure of driver to provide insurance information, Failure to notify police, Failure of vehicle to display lighted lamps.

 

Summons Service

On Friday March 28, 2016, Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Tamara Lynn Thomas, age 41 of Cumberland Maryland. The Summons was issued by Cumberland City Police for two counts of Contributing to the Condition of a Child, and Obstructing and Hindering a missing person’s investigation. Thomas was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
