CPD Serves Arrest Warrants And Make Theft Arrest

On March 6, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a bench warrant on Joseph Quinton Nelson for Failure to Appear.  Nelson failed to appear for court on March 2, 2017 for an original charge of Theft:  Less Than $1,000 Value.  He was taken to a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing where he was released on his personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.

Arrested: 

Joseph Quinton Nelson, age:  20, Frostburg, MD

Charges:  Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear

On March 6, 2017 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Amanda Yvonne Tallman for Theft:  $1,000 to under $10,000.  She was taken to a District Commissioner where she was held on $10,000 bond.  She was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center pending her next court appearance.

Arrested:

Amanda Yvonne Tallman, age:  23, Cumberland, Maryland

Charges:  Theft:  $1,000 to under $10,000

On March 6, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Jessica Dawn Naomi Miller.  Miller failed to appear for court on December 19, 2016 for two charges of driving on a suspended license.  She was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.

Arrested:

Jessica Dawn Naomi Miller, age:  36, Cumberland, MD

Charges:  Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear

 

Theft Arrest

On March 6, 2017 at approximately 5:02 PM the Cumberland Police responded to a business in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue for a shoplifting complaint.  Upon arrival it was learned Ashlie Nicole Rhodes had taken several items from the store without paying for them.  She was issued a criminal citation for Theft Less Than $100 and released pending trial in District Court.
