CPD Serves Multiple Warrants

On Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Jeremiah Daniel Martin.  The arrest warrant was issued as the result of a breaking and entering investigation back on June 12th, 2017 where Martin was found by police in a vacant building on Park Street owned by the City of Cumberland.  Application was made to the District Court Commissioner and a warrant was issued.  Martin was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on $5,000 bond.

Jeremiah Daniel Martin, age: 33, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  4th degree burglary, trespassing, littering, malicious destruction of property.

Held on $5,000 bond.

 

Arrest Warrant ServedOn August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Jason Myles Roager.  The warrant was issued as the result of an application that was made to the District Court Commission about an incident that took place on August 6th, 2017 on the Cumberland Mall in the area of the Embassy Theatre.  Roager was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.

 

Jason Myles Roager, age: 22, Cumberland, Maryland 21502.

Charge:  2nd degree assault (2 counts), disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, affray (2 counts).

Release personal recognizance.

 

Circuit Court Violation of Probation Warrant

On August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served a Circuit Court Violation of Probation warrant on Jordan Hollingsworth.  She was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center until she can be seen by a Judge of the Circuit Court.

Jordan Hollingsworth, age: 27, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charge:  Violation of probation.

Held without bond.

 

Arrest Warrant Served

On August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police Department served an arrest warrant on Raymond Travis Larson.  The warrant was issued after application was made to the District Court about a breaking and entering complaint that took place back on July 27, 2017 at a residence on Decatur Street.  Larson is suspected of taking over $16,000 worth of jewelry and cash from a private residence.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and is currently awaiting bond review.

Raymond Travis Larson, age: 44, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  1st degree burglary (2 counts), and theft scheme $10,000 to under $100,000.

 

Circuit Court Failure to Appear Warrant

On August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served a Circuit Court warrant on Cassandra Ann Baker for failure to appear for trial on August 1st, 2017.  Baker was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond until she can be seen by a Judge of the Circuit Court.

Charge: Failure to appear.

Held without bond.

 

Arrest Warrant Failure to Follow Conditions of Probation

On August 8th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police Served an arrest warrant on Laken Shaw Mallow for failing to complete community service.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and is currently awaiting a bond review.

Charge:  Failure to follow conditions of probation.
