On Saturday June 18, 2016, the Cumberland Police arrested Amy Nichole Roach, age 38 of Cumberland MD. Roach had three Bench Warrants for her arrest for Failing to Appear for her court date for traffic related charges as well as False Statement to an Officer. She was taken to Police Headquarters, processed and taken before the District Court Commissioner for a Bond Hearing. Roach was released on her own Personal Recognizance.

On Sunday June 19, 2016, the Cumberland Police arrested Angela Deanne Guinn, age 49 of Flintstone, MD. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Guinn. While investigating the traffic stop, Guinn admitted that she had a crack pipe in her purse. After searching Guinn’s purse, the officer located three crack cocaine smoking devices, along with a hypodermic syringe and other drug related paraphernalia. Guinn was arrested, taken to Police Headquarters, where she was issued Criminal Citations, traffic citations, and released.

Sunday June 19, 2016, the Cumberland Police arrested John Benjamin Batz, age 28 of Westminster, MD. The police were called to the rear of Martin’s Food Market, Park St, for a report of a subject laying on the CSX railroad tracks. Officers made contact with Batz and escorted him from the tracks. He was issued a Criminal Citation for Trespassing and later taken to the hospital for unrelated reasons.
