The Cumberland City Police Department has issued a statement on Saturday night's water issue:
The water main break on Decatur Street has been stopped.
The police are asking the public to remain away from the Decatur Street and Henderson Avenue area as there is extensive damage to the Decatur Street area and debris on Henderson Avenue.
The Utilities Department with the City of Cumberland is still on scene continuing to work on the issues.
There will be road closures in the area for an undetermined amount of time.
