On Tuesday, May 5th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Julian James Herndon for disorderly conduct and assault. The charges were issued by District Court in reference to an incident that took place back on April 15th, 2020 in the area of Wallace Street. On that date, Officers responded to the area for fight in progress. When officers arrived, Herndon and several other individuals were identified as being involved in a physical altercation in the street prior to their arrival. Herndon signed and received copies of his charging document and was released pending trial.
3 other individuals involved have also been identified and charges issued for them in this matter.
