On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded a Goethe Street address for a tenant dispute. When officers arrived, they contacted complainant who informed officers that Rodricus Marquees Wilkes was in the residence and was refusing to leave. While the officers were on scene, they received information that Wilkes also was possibly involved in the trafficking of crack cocaine. Officers questioned Wilkes and subsequently located a significant quantity of suspected crack cocaine in his possession. Wilkes was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
