Cumberland Man Arrested For Drugs And Disturbance

On Saturday, February 18, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Jeremiah Yee. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred the previous evening. On February 17, 2017 at approximately 9:30 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business on Virginia Avenue for a male subject causing a disturbance. Upon the officers’ arrival, they contacted the subject, Jeremiah Yee. Yee allowed officers to search him and he was found to be in possession of marijuana and prescription medication/controlled dangerous substance. Yee then began causing a further disturbance. An application for charges was later filed at the District Court of Allegany County and an arrest warrant was issued. Yee was served with the warrant and taken to the Allegany District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a Temporary Commitment, pending his initial hearing.

CHARGES: CDS: Possess- Not Marijuana, CDS: Possess with Intent to Distribute, Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey a Reasonable & Lawful Order, Remove Prescription label, Resisting Arrest
