Cumberland Man Arrested for Stabbing

A stabbing took place Friday night in Cumberland.  Police responded to the 100 block of West Second Street at 11:35 pm and located a victim on the porch with a stab wound to the chest and lacerations to his hand.  The suspect was still at the scene.  Phat Hue Chung, 47, of Cumberland, was arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder, first degree assault, and reckless endangerment.  Chung was held on $100,000 bond.  The victim was transported to the Western Maryland Health System Regional Medical Center.
