On Monday, Feburary 11th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Baltimore Street establishment for the report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they spoke with a male identified as David Edward Beck. While officers were present, Beck continued to argue and create a disturbance. He was warned of his conduct by officers but Beck refused to stop causing the disturbance. He was arrested and charged with failure to obey a lawful order made to prevent a disturbance of the public peace. Beck was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial.
