On Monday, June 5, 2017 at approximately 11:42 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 500 block of Greenway Avenue in reference to an armed robbery. Upon the officers’ arrival, they contacted the victim who reported that he was robbed by two suspects at knife-point. The victim had property stolen and had also sustained injuries from the incident. One of the suspects was identified as Corey Schriner. Schriner was later located on Springdale Street. Schriner was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. He was processed and is currently awaiting his initial appearance at the District Court of Allegany County. Charges are pending for the second suspect involved.
