The City of Cumberland Water Department had an immediate emergency shutdown due to an 8” water main break on Ashland Avenue @ Holland Street. The area affected will include Ashland Avenue @ Piedmont Avenue and Holland Street @ Roethe Avenue. The north end tank and pumping station will be shut down causing very low pressure to no water at the Allegany County Nursing Home as well as the north end area.
