Chief Hinnant was an excellent chief and Cumberland was lucky to have had him for 13 years. Given the insanity running amuck on the City Council with privatization of water services, I am sure the police department will be sold off to Fred’s Mall Security Company to reduce costs and allow the city to go to a ‘pay per use’ system.

He and his officers have done a great job trying to clean up the drugs and crime in the city. The problem is the liberal judges and states attorneys office keep letting the criminals back out on the street to commit the same crimes over and over and over again!
