Cumberland Police Make Assault Arrest & Serve Warrant

Officers were contacted at the police station by an assault victim.  The victim advised that her boyfriend Glenn P. Plummer JR. had assaulted her last night.  She stated that Glenn came into the room and began to yell at her accusing her of infidelity.  She stated that he then grabbed her by the back of the neck and tried to push her out of the room.  She advised that she attempted to get away when he then bit her on the hand.  She then fell back onto the bed when he then struck her with his hand.  She fell onto the ground at which time she was kicked by Glenn.  At his time she threatened him that she was going to call the police at which time he became apologetic and stopped the assault.  She advised that she went to bed for the evening and was woken up this morning to being hit in the head by Glenn while he was yelling at her.  Officers observed injuries to the victim consistent to the assault that occurred.  Officers responded to the residence and made contact with Glenn who was placed under arrest without incident.  He was transported to PH where he was charged and processed.

 

Glenn Paul Plummer Jr.             Age: 52                                Maryland Ave.

Charges: 2 cts. Assault 2nd Degree

Plummer was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC without Bond.

Charge: 2 cts FTA

Hart was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC on a total bond of $5000
