Officers responded to Fort Ave. for a report of a hit and run complaint. Upon their arrival they observed where a vehicle had struck a parked car and then continued on down the road. The suspect vehicle again lost control and went into a yard nearly striking a shed before it came to a stop. The occupants of the vehicle then fled the area on foot. Witnesses were contacted along with some of the occupants of the vehicle. They advised the subject driving the vehicle was identified as Donte Vanpelt. He was located in the area of Pine Ave. and placed under arrest. During the search incident to arrest two clonazepam pills were located in his pocket. He was transported to PH where he was processed and charged.

Charge: Hit and Run, Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS not in prescription bottle
Vanpelt was taken for a bond hearing and held in the Allegany County Detention Center on a $3000 Bail.
