Cumberland Police Serve Summons & Make Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On Wednesday, August 9, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Joshua Walker.   Charges were filed by a private citizen at the District Court of Allegany County.  The victim alleged that on July 11, 2017, Walker damaged a vehicle and assaulted him on Fairview Avenue.  Walker was released pending trial after being served.

 

ARRESTED:  Joshua Levi Walker     AGE:  29            Cumberland, MD

CHARGES: Assault-2nd Degree, Willful motor vehicle damaging without owner’s consent, Throwing objects at vehicle and its occupants, Manipulate any vehicle device with malicious intent, Causing standing vehicle to obstruct free passage of roadway.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT ARREST

On Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at approximately 6:20 PM, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the Canal Shops in reference to a male subject urinating in public in front of the Visitor’s Center.  Officers contacted the suspect and identified him as Robert Porter.  Porter was arrested and transported to police headquarters.  Porter was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct and released.
