Cumberland Police Serves Criminal Summons & Arrest Warrant

On July 23, 2019, the Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Anthony Talbot, age 38, of Cumberland.  The Summons stemmed from a July 11, 2019 incident where merchandise was stolen from LaVale business.  Subsequently, charges were applied for in District Court and Talbot was charged with theft under $100.  Talbot was served with the Summons and released pending trial in District Court.

On July 22, 2019, the Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on David Howe Jr., age 53 of Bedford, PA.  The Warrant stemmed from a theft that occurred from a LaVale business in March of 2019.  Charges were applied for in District Court and a Warrant was issued charging Howe Jr. with theft $100-$1500.  Howe Jr. was served with the Warrant and taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance.  Following his hearing he was released on his own recognizance pending trial.
