The Cumberland Police Department will be conducting a Medication Take Back operation in front of the Western Maryland Railway Station Plaza, located at 13 Canal Street in Cumberland. Officers will be set up near the fountain and drop off times will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 8:00 am until Noon and Sunday, May 14, 2017 from Noon until 4:00 pm. The Cumberland Police Department encourages citizens to drop unwanted and expired medication during these times, for those who are unable to drop their medication off and have medications they would like to dispose of, please contact Lieutenant Brian Lepley at 301-759-6463 or by E-mail at brian.lepley@cumberlandmd.gov to schedule a pick up at your residence.
