In a new survey released yesterday by Homesecurity Shield using information from the most recent FBI Uniform Crime Report, Homesecurity Shield says that Maryland’s most dangerous city is Baltimore followed by Ocean City. Cumberland is ranked number 8, with violent crimes almost 8 per 1,000 residences. If you combine violent crimes and property crimes the city of Cumberland ranks number 3 in the state of Maryland. Only cities with populations of over 5,000 were included.
