Samantha Jo Sweitzer, 15, was killed Tuesday evening after being struck by an SUV while crossing Philidelphia Ave at 21st Street in Ocean City. Samantha was a student at Allegany High School. According to reports from the Ocean City Police the accident occurred around 6PM Tuesday evening when Samantha with a group of female friends crossed Philidelphia Ave at 21st Street when she strayed from the group and zigzagged through traffic. WCBC will have more information as it becomes available.
