Earlier this week, a caller to the WCBC Dave Norman Show said he believes Cumberland has some of the highest water rates in the nation and gave statistics comparing the Queen City with New York City. WCBC News asked City Administrator Jeff Rhodes about the calculation of city water rates:
Rhodes told us that the city does not compare its rates to other areas while calculating them.
