The City of Cumberland earned a $2,000 check from the Western Maryland Health System for winning the Healthy Community Challenge. Other towns competing were Westernport, Lonaconing, and Piedmont. Barry Ronan, CEO of the Health System, made several presentations at the Cumberland City Council meeting.
