Cumberland Woman Arrested on Disorderly Conduct

On Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Pear Street residence for the report of female attempting to break in.  When officers arrived, they spoke with the homeowner who claimed that a Tanaya Marie Shook was intoxicated and attempting to get into her house.  Officers were able to locate Shook in the rear of the residence and she was told to leave the property and not return. Moments later, Officers received another complaint that Shook was again at the Pear Street address.  This time when officer arrived, Shook was observed on the front porch causing a disturbance. She was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order to prevent a disturbance of the public peace.  Shook was taken before the District Court Commissioner.
