Cumberland Woman Charged After Industrial Boulevard Disturbance

On Saturday, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to an establishment on Industrial Blvd. for a disturbance.

Upon officers’ arrival, the staff reported that a female, Jennifer Shoap, was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the business. Officers contacted Shoap who was still causing a disturbance. Shoap refused to leave after being told to do so. Officers went to place Shoap under arrest at which time she resisted.

Shoap was taken into custody, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where she was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.

CHARGES: Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest
