On Saturday an officer from the Cumberland City Police Department was on patrol in the area of N. Mechanic and Baltimore Street when he observed a disturbance amongst a group of individuals. The officer witnessed a female, identified as Carlie Jane Bohrer of Cumberland, run up to one of the males in the group and slap him multiple times. The officer intervened and placed Bohrer under arrest for the assault. She was taken to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing and then the District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond review. Bohrer was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial.
Arrested: Carlie Jane Bohrer, age: 18, Cumberland, MD.
Charges: Assault 2nd, and disorderly conduct.
