Cumberland City Police Saturday served an arrest warrant on on Samatha Nicole Kesler for Arson 1st degree, Reckless endangerment, Theft less than $1,000.00 and Disorderly Conduct.
The warrant service stemmed from an incident that occurred on 05/11/17 in the 400 block of Footer Place. During the incident a kitchen was set on fire, causing minor damage. The fire was extinguished by Cumberland Fire Department. The Cumberland City Fire Marshall assisted the police department with the investigation.
Kesler was transported to the station for charges and processing. She was later transported to the District Court Commissioner’s Office for her initial appearance. As a result of the hearing, Kesler was held at the Allegany County detention center on a $20,000.00 bond
