Cumberland Woman Served With Six Warrants, Held Without Bond

On Friday, an Officer from the Cumberland City Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Henderson Ave. for a traffic violation.

When speaking with the occupants, the officer recognized a passenger as Jordon Hollingsworth, age 27, Cumberland, MD, who was wanted on six separate Arrest Warrants. Hollingsworth attempted to deceive officers by providing a false name, but officers were able to verify her identity. The officer then placed Hollingsworth under arrest for the Warrants. A search incident to arrest revealed Hollingsworth was in possession of controlled medication and paraphernalia. Hollingsworth was then transported to the Cumberland Police Department where she was served with the six Arrest Warrants.

She was also charged with CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substance) Possession Not Marijuana, CDS Paraphernalia, possession CDS Administering Equipment, Fraudulent Identification to Avoid Prosecution, and Obstructing and Hindering. Hollingsworth was taken in front of a District Court Commissioner and held on $5000 for the On View charges, $3000 for an Arrest Warrant for possessing CDS Administration Equipment, $5000 for Failing to Appear (FTA) for Theft under $1000, $3000 on an Arrest Warrant for Failing to Appear for a Petty Theft case, and Held Without Bond on three Circuit Court Warrants awaiting a hearing in Circuit Court.
