Cumberland’s National Night Out Celebration will take place this afternoon into this evening at the Salvation Army, with Somerville Avenue being closed to traffic beginning at 11 AM.

A similar event will be held at Country Club Mall from 5 until 9 this evening, where representatives of Maryland State Police and Allegany County Sheriff’s Department will be joined by local fire and EMS and others.
