A public meeting to update and receive input from downtown Cumberland business and property owners has been scheduled for the Downtown Development Commission. The DDC organized the meeting which is set for 5:30 to 7 PM at the Allegany Arts Council located at 9 North Centre Street. The agenda is to provide updates on the various projects underway and scheduled for the future, as well as to hear from those most directly impacted. DDC Chair Sandi Saville said she hopes to see a strong turnout, but acknowledged that trying to solicit ideas or questions from stakeholders has proven a difficult challenge in recent years…
