UPDATE: Beckman's Pharmacy has announced they will be open regular hours tomorrow. Potomac Valley Pharmacy is open on Tuesday with regular hours as well.
INITIAL REPORT:
WCBC News has confirmed that agents of the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration are in Cumberland today.
Cumberland City Interim Police Chief Chuck Ternent has confirmed that officers from his department were requested to be present when agents made stops at Potomac Valley Pharmacy, on Valley Street, and Beckman's Pharmacy, on Greene Street.
We have contacted the DEA in an effort to ascertain additional details, and are awaiting a response.
