Deal Approved To Allow Sale Of Rocky Gap

As expected, the Maryland Board of Public Works approved a $9.8 million deal that will allow a casino operator to buy the Rocky Gap Lodge and Resort. The vote was unanimous, with an ardent anti-gambling advocate making the motion that paved the way for approval. Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine was at the hearing.
