Motorists across the country are encountering lower prices than a month ago on July 23 and even compared to last year at this time, which is welcome news as the Labor Day holiday nears.
Maryland’s average price has even dropped two cents a gallon from last week, while the national average held steady. Today’s average price in Maryland is $3.54 per gallon, a two cents decrease compared to a week ago, a 16 cents decline from last month and a 15 cents decrease from a year ago.
