Continuing to express frustration with recent trends in Annapolis- Delegate Kevin Kelly says it’s becoming more and more of a challenge for rural Maryland to attract jobs. Kelly, an Allegany County democrat, told local business leaders recently that not only does western Maryland face competition in attracting business from neighboring states- but faces even more competition the Baltimore, Montgomery and Prince Georges counties in Maryland. Kelly says the “big three” routinely support legislation that is all too often detrimental to efforts in rural parts of the state.
