A freshman democrat to the scene, Maryland Sixth District Congressman John Delaney said he has already witnessed enough partisan politics in his first year on the job to last him a lifetime. He says enough is enough. Following two weeks plus of a federal government shutdown, Delaney says its time for republicans and democrats to stop playing politics and looking for “party” wins- and its time to focus on the business of running government for the citizens that elected them.
