Maryland congressman John Delaney has continued working to increase minimum wage to $10.10 cents an hour by 2016. Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler and Progressive Maryland have joined the push, after a minimum wage raise to $10 per hour. Delaney says raising the minimum wage directly helps working families in Maryland. Delaney believes raising minimum wage is good for local businesses. Gansler says higher wages equals employee retention.
