Disruptive woman removed from train in Cumberland

Cumberland City Police report a Greenbelt woman was removed from an Amtrak passenger train Thursday night after she allegedly created a disturbance and became disruptive with employees. Tiffany R. Kirchner, 33, was forcibly removed from the train and arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct following the 8 p.m. incident that occurred during an Amtrak stopover at Harrison Street in the city.Officers and train employees escorted Kirchner from the train. She was processed for arrest at the Cumberland Police station and released, pending trial in district court. The arrest was made after Kirchner refused to comply with repeated police orders to leave the area after she was removed from the train.
