Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept Friday responded to the 500blk of Valley Street in reference to a Domestic Assault. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim in this case who stated that Heather Creegan, 28yoa of Cumberland had returned to the residence after being told not to do so by Officers earlier in the day. Creegan then began to slap and scratch the victim until he was able to get away from her and contact the police. The victim had several minor injuries that did not require medical attention consistent with his account of the incident. Creegan, who was still on the scene, was taken into custody at this time. While searching Creegan incident to arrest, Officers located several CDS related items and paraphernalia. Creegan was transported to the Cumberland Police Department where she was processed and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Fail to Obey a Lawful Order, and CDS possession of paraphernalia. Creegan was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was held ordered on a $10,000.00 bail.

On Saturday,at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a residence in the 900 block of Maryland Avenue in reference to a domestic assault. Upon the officers arrival contact was made with a male victim who advised that he was assaulted by Steven Largent Musgrove Jr. The victim stated that an argument took place then Musgrove slammed him into a bed causing a cut on his face. The victim did not require medical treatment. Musgrove was placed under arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. Musgrove was then taken to District court for his initial appearance at which time he was released on his personal recognizance.
