In light of the tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook school in Connecticut last Friday, WCBC News talked with Allegany County Superintendent of Schools Dr David Cox about the security measures that are in place locally. Cox said that he believes the public school system has made major strides in making schools safer in the past few years- but adds that there is always more that can be done.
