Allegany County Superintendent of Schools Dr David Cox wants to see Maryland lawmakers move toward revising the wealth formula to make it more equitable for the county. Allegany and Garrett counties, using the current formula are listed as wealthier than Howard County and almost as wealthy as Montgomery County. The formula thus leads to fewer state dollars coming to those counties…
