On Friday evening, troopers from the McHenry Barrack stopped a 2012 Mazda passenger vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop a K-9 scan was conducted which resulted in the seizure of CDS. A Colorado Springs, CO man identified as Carliss Lee Pitts Jr. was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Pitts was held on $10,000.00 bond at the Garrett County Detention Center following a bond hearing with the District Court Commissioner.
